“Good eating habits and lifestyle are the keys to disease prevention.”

Kiran Boparai received her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from San Francisco State University, and has been practicing in Orange County since 1999. She chose nutrition as a career because she was interested in health and disease prevention, and saw good eating habits and lifestyle as the key to achieving it. She is passionate about helping people by empowering them to make simple behavior and lifestyle changes to promote optimal health and wellness.

Kiran started her career working with the geriatric population which made her realize the importance of disease prevention. From there she was given the opportunity to work with an Internal Medicine practice to provide nutrition counseling for disease specific states and weight loss. It is this passion and OCWMG’s approach to women’s health that drew her to the practice. She finds it rewarding to be part of a team that provides a continuum of care throughout the life cycle.

Kiran is married with two girls. Besides spending time with her family, she enjoys being active (at the gym, hikes, walks in the park, dancing) and traveling back home to India to be with her family.
