Jenny Liem Nordin
D.O.
Dr. Nordin is a board- certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with an enthusiasm for furthering the health of women. Though born and raised in Southern California, she spent a good number of years in the Midwest, first at the University of Notre Dame for her undergraduate education, then Midwestern University for medical school and then later at Chicago’s busiest hospital, Northwestern Memorial, where she was medical director of the triage hospitalist program, did inpatient obstetrics for an underserved patient population and educated residents and medical students. While in Chicago, she also had the opportunity to practice gynecology under the guidance of a physician focusing on menopause and sexual health. In between, there was a return to Southern California where she did residency at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, serving as administrative chief, and then practiced a few years at Kaiser. Though the Midwest will fondly hold a spot in her heart, the pull to be closer to family brought her back to Orange County where she is now excited to be an OB/GYN hospitalist with the OCWMG family. She enjoys being able to partner with patients during the privileged time of childbirth, employing shared decision- making to obtain the most healthy outcome for both patient and baby.
When not at the hospital, she loves spending time with her husband and three children, taking advantage of the diverse cultural, culinary and musical offerings of Southern California and
exploring new hikes.
