Born on December 8, 2020, Riley was 6 pounds, 3 ounces, and 20 inches long, delivered by Dr. Mita Patel. The beaming parents, Stephanie and Alex, said they could not be happier with the delivery of their child.
Birthing Suites Offer Mothers a Modern Space
Fudge Family Birthing Suites are an extension of Hoag’s Newport Beach campus, which offers world-renowned maternity services. Hoag Hospital aims to “reimagine the experience of pregnancy, delivery and recovery for modern families.” The Fudge Family Birthing Suites are unique and designed to accommodate maternity care, with moms able to experience labor, delivery, and first moments with the baby all in the same room. The space is on the first floor, and includes a serene outdoor walking garden to encourage a sense of peacefulness. Hoag Hospital has cherished playing a role in birthing mothers since 1952, and is excited for the Hoag family to grow in both Newport and Irvine, with dedicated and renowned team members from OCWMG.
